How Wee Mixed Was Born. Our family owned mobile bartending service in Illinois :)

Wee Mixed is thrilled to be approaching its official 2-year anniversary! We are sharing our story and reflecting on the valuable lessons we've learned during this journey.

Just for some background information, our business is owned by our family (my husband Ryan and I own and run it together). Following our college graduation and securing jobs in our respective fields, we came to the realization that we were not content and both wanted to return to the restaurant industry. We had both worked in fine dining from a young age and missed the fast pace of working in restaurants.

In essence, our journey working in restaurants has not only enriched our understanding of cocktails and hospitality but has also really instilled in us a respect for the dedication and skill that professionals in the industry bring to their craft.

Our aunt is an event planner, and we began helping her with serving and bartending at events as side jobs. It was during this time that we had the "aha" moment to start Wee Mixed. I was responsible for creating the name, the initial version of our basic website, and our first logo. Meanwhile, my husband took on bartending roles at events and concentrated on the operational aspects of the business. We started taking events all across Illinois. The rest, as they say, is history. Our commitment to events has consistently centered around providing our guests with friendly, dependable, and welcoming service. In our business approach, we strive to enhance our operations daily, deriving lessons and growth from each event to enhance our standards. We're excited to see where we will be in a year, two, to ten years from now!

Head-quarted in Oak Park, Wee Mixed services all of Illinois. Popular areas we serve but are not limited to are Hinsdale, Oak Park, Barrington, Glenview, River Forest, Naperville, Plainfield, Winnetka, Downers Grove, La Grange and Downtown Chicago.
